Born in Perth, Western Australia in 1951.

Attended the University of WA where he studied Physics and Mathematics. In the course of his studies he discovered computers and was taken by the possibility they created for modeling systems.

Interests

Part-time interest in polar exploration - mostly at a distance - and has supported Eric Philips [See http://www.icetrek.com] for many years.
